A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday following a November disclosure of a uncommon leukemia diagnosis.

News of her death was confirmed in a social media post by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

Within a published essay in November, she disclosed that she had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation.
This condition is a disease that originates in the bone marrow and blood cells.
